As you've spent the time to come and visit we thought it only right to introduce ourselves and give you some insight into who we are and what we're trying to achieve with the store. Manners and all that! Based out of Leicestershire, Magpie Miller is an attempt to create a place which uncovers and promotes interesting and unique items which can enrich your home through clean design and aesthetic balance. Digested read; we love nice things and want to share them with you!
Founded by Elissa Miller, the store was conceived to address the lack of individualism which has emerged in recent years through the prevalence of high street lines. Whilst we live in a culture where good design has never been more readily available, there is a tendency for everything to look the same and Magpie Miller strives to provide you with gorgeous elements which will allow you to stand apart and imprint your personality on the environment in which you live. Having worked in the creative industries for almost a decade and coming from a long line of interior fashion and interior specialists, the Magpie Miller philosophy revolves around the desire to unearth quality pieces which can help to create an affordable and unique look for your home.
We won't pretend we don't love what we do and our passion for sourcing design has led us all over the world; with items on the site ranging from handmade creations from the Amish Communities in North America, through to design collectives in Asia and Europe and up-and-coming graduates from Britain.
