Porcelain Kerr Mason Jar Planter. Preserved!

Certain items have gained their status as design royalty through the intrinsic combination of form and function. Alongside the likes of the Coca Cola contour bottle and Bic biro, the Kerr Mason jar was conceived with a very specific job in mind but transcended it's purely utilitarian roots to have an enduring aesthetic which still resonates today. Taking this as a starting point, the Portland based design collective have cleverly transferred the Kerr Mason Jar to a different medium - swapping out the rugged glass for delicate porcelain and in doing so reinvigorated this design classic without compromising its desirability. A beautiful planter which brings out the best in both the porcelain rendered jar itself and the environment around it, these Kerr Mason pots are the kind of item which makes running this store such a pleasure.
